I am Mrs. Berendzen and I get the pleasure of teaching your child a lot of new facts and to make learning fun, while emphasizing the "power of YET".  I have been a teacher for 15 years and have taught kindergarten, first grade, and my favorite...second grade!  I can't wait to see what this crazy year is going to bring us, but I am so eager to get started! 

 

I am very passionate about teaching and will do everything in my power to keep your child safe and eager to come to school each day.   

 

I love adventure, reading, traveling, refinishing furniture, gardening, and cooking.   I have 4 kids (a college sophomore studying architecture at K State, a 6th grader, a 3rd grader, and a preschooler.  We are busy people!  :-)
